Although the seasons move at a normal rate, ageing does not. Characters here age 1 month each week (Sunday) as to keep things moving and character from remaining in an almost frozen state. Here you can see your character's current age as well as the weekly updates.

What happens if I've joined my character from a different site?
- Any character that joins Akehem created here or otherwise still must undergo the aging process we engage.

What about if I leave Akehem?
- Our aging system only affects those members who are on our site and within our timeline, so if you leave system with your character then our aging system does not follow. you leave at the age you were at the point of leaving and can then do as you please thereafter.

How do I keep track of how old my character is?
- Our staff will do their best to list all the character's ages on the list below and update them weekly. It should be as simple as checking the list below for your character and their current age.

What happens with character's birthdays?
- Yes, that can be a confusing one and we're still trying to work this part out. We know that not everyone celebrates their character's birthdays per si, but we know some do and it's important for certain ceremonies and tasks. To keep things orderly, we will allow birthdays to be celebrated as they year up via the chart below.

Will we be informed as our characters year up?
- We will send a DM/PM to those characters who are due to year up on the Sunday of change. But it is also down to the roleplayers to keep track of their character's age and update their timelines and threads accordingly.

What rate do pups age up?
- For pups up to a year, they will age at 2 months each 1 week. That way people aren't trapped playing young pups for long periods of time. From their 13th month of age, the rate will drop to 1 month each week
