Even for those that enjoy the warmth, Mount Vertex is perhaps a bit too much. It is a large volcano that stands intimidatingly, the sounds of lava brewing within the thick rock walls add to this effect. The volcano gasps and sputters violently at short intervals, and sometimes, lava oozes over the side of the mountain if the splash is great enough. The rough textured ground is barren of all life, and steam breathes out hungrily from in between the cracks.}
