CHARACTER CREATION.
When creating a character on Akehem there are a few things that you need to be aware of; while our seasonal and timescale rotation is reflective of real life, aging in Akehem is not. See our Age Chart for information.
NAME: Your character's identification is very important and we require them to have a first and last name. We have no qualms about what your character's name is, as long as it's not offensive or overly complicated or long. If you are struggling with choosing a name, there are numerous sites that are available to offer assistance with name choices.
AGE: As mentioned before we have got our own aging system. Check out the age chart for more information or contact a member of staff if you're still unsure.
GENDER: Pretty self-explanatory.
SPECIES: Canine or Feline and which sub species.
GUILD: If your character is born into a Guild, has previously joined one or is an introvert, let us know which they belong to.
TERRITORY: If you're not part of a Guild your family unit can have claimed to a single 'territory' listed on the map.
ALIGNMENT: Blobbloblboboblboblbolboblob
APPEARANCE: Give full detailed descriptions of the character's appearance. The more details given the better it is for others to visualise your character.
MUTATIONS: As before a fully detailed description of the mutations the character has and any abilities the character has.
TEMPERAMENT: Explain about your character's behaviour, likes, dislikes, habits and ticks. The more we know, the better.
HISTORY: Try and include as much of your character's past, from the earliest point of recolection. Include information regarding key family and friends in the character's life and what role they played on the direction of your character's life.
FAMILY: Not every member will have family on the site, but having them listed and a bit of information about them would be handy. If you do have family on the site then feel free to link their profiles as well.

The final step to join will be to start a roleplay thread either in the territory of the Guild you're wanting to join if you're joining a Guild or anywhere on the site. Other members will reply that that will be your starting point on Akehem. Happy roleplaying.
Remember that we do not require you to complete your entire biography to be completed in order to start roleplaying. However, we do require you to have your joining request accepted and the biography started. We understand that a character's biography is a constant WIP and will always need tweaking and updating.
